CHANDIGARH: The Haryana School Education Department has come across an embezzlement case amounting to over Rs. 40 lakhs while checking the office of the District Education Officer of Faridabad, according to Commissioner and Director-General of School Education, K.K. Khandelwal.He said that acting on the information that a superintendent and three officials of the DEO Faridabad had allegedly swindled sports funds worth Rs. 14 lakhs, a special team was deputed.
