Kidnapped girl makes dramatic appearance

Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD: The kidnap episode of a jeweller's daughter has ended on a happy note after the girl was traced by her relatives on Shivam Road near Osmania University on Wednesday morning. However, no arrests were made in the case.

Motorcycle-borne miscreants allegedly kidnapped the six-year-old girl while she was waiting for her driver at her dance school in Himayathnagar on Tuesday evening. The girl's relatives went to pick-up her without informing the police.

"The girl's relatives informed us after she was brought to the house. We are inquiring whether the girl was released after taking money from the family," a police official said.
