Telephone bills to be accepted through credit cards

HYDERABAD: On the eve of the 38th World Telecom Day on Thursday, the Hyderabad Telecom District launched a new scheme of accepting payments of telephone bills - including the CellOne mobile bills through credit and debit cards.

According to a press release, Andhra Pradesh Circle, PGM, R.K.Arnold inaugurated the scheme at five select centres of Hyderbad telecom.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Arnold said that the BSNL is the first one in the country to introduce such a novel scheme.

A function was also held in Osman Mahal Auditorium in connection with the World Telecom Day.
