Deva's success story continues

Chennai: The success story of music director Deva enters its 20th year. The man who began with producing devotional cassettes and entered filmdom through `Maattukkara Mannaaru,' has so far done 400 movies in all south Indian languages.

He gives pride of place for three movies of Kamal Hassan (Avvai Shanmugi, Pancha Thandiram and Pammal K. Sammandam) and three films of Rajinikanth (Basha, Annamalai and Arunachalam). Now he has more than a dozen films in hand. He is also a good singer of popular ghana songs.

Alandur Fine Arts and Shristi School of Fine Arts are organising a function at Kamarajar Arangam, Chennai, on Sunday to honour him.
