Yamaha launches `Gladiator'

HYDERABAD: Yamaha Motor India Sales Private Limited on Wednesday launched the new `Gladiator', the executive segment two-wheeler, here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Yamaha's Regional Business Head N. Srikanth said Yamaha's latest offering is a four-stroke, 5-speed, 125 cc machine with an acceleration from 0 to 60 kmph in 5.8 seconds and a mileage of 67 kmph under ideal city traffic conditions. The motorcycle comes in two variants - standard and deluxe and in a range of four basic colours, he said. The standard variant is priced at Rs. 41,000 ex-company while the deluxe model with electric start and disc brakes comes at Rs. 44,000.
