Woman, child injured

Thiruvananthapuram: A woman and a child were injured when they were thrown out of a speeding KSRTC bus, which was proceeding from Palode to Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday evening.

The incident occurred at Nandiyode. Kumari, 48, of Mannanthala, an employee of SAT Hospital, has been admitted to Medical College Hospital.

Her nephew, Arpit, 4, who sustained head injuries, has been admitted to SAT Hospital.
