`One-stop' place for electronic products

CHENNAI:
The city is set to have one more mall that is being touted as a `one-stop' place for all electronic products and services.
VGP Digital China Square, a joint venture of VGP and Singapore-based Shanaya Groups, will come up at the 40,000-sq-feet VGP Victory House on Anna Salai. Promoters said the Rs. 100 crore-project is likely to be completed and "ready for occupation" by July. "We are offering an alternative to shopping for electronic goods at the congested and crowded Ritchie Street. Our mall will come up right opposite the Street. It will have shops selling computers, laptops, mobile phones and all peripherals," said Mr. Ansari of Shanaya Group.
According to the promoters, Chennai-ites could also shop for spares, accessories, stationary and software at the fully air-conditioned multi-storeyed mall with parking facility.
