Voltas to expand dealer network in State

VIJAYAWADA: Voltas company will expand its dealer network in Andhra Pradesh by increasing the number of dealers from the existing 100 to 175 to cater to the growing needs of customers, according to company senior general manager K. D. Virmani.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Thursday, Mr. Virmani, who was here for the inauguration of two new dealer outlets, said that the company had decided to spend Rs.1 crore in the State for promotion of air-conditioners through road shows.

"Today Voltas has a strong presence in the market and we are number two in the air-conditioning industry with a market share of 16 per cent," he said.
