Corporation Bank hands over dividend to Govt.
MANGALORE:
Corporation Bank has paid a dividend of 70 per cent to its shareholders for 2005-06, which includes an interim dividend of 35 per cent already paid during the month of December 2005. The cheque for the dividend amount payable to the Government of India was handed over to the Union Finance Minister, P. Chidambaram, by the Chairman and Managing Director of the bank B. Sambamurthy, in New Delhi on Friday, according to a bank release. Also present on the occasion were K. Gopalakrishna, Executive Director, and M. R. Nayak, General Manager in-charge of the Delhi Zone of the bank.
