UPA not to invite MDMK

Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI: The United Progressive Alliance has decided not to invite Vaiko's Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam to the coordination committee meeting on Monday. However, no decision has been taken on the continuation of the MDMK in the coalition, UPA sources told The Hindu.

On Mr. Vaiko not being invited for Monday's meeting, the sources said it was being held after the Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu. The UPA-Left coordination meeting on the completion of two years of the coalition government in office may take place on Tuesday.
