CHENNAI: Rainfall occurred at most places over Kerala and south interior Karnataka, at many places over Rayalaseema, at a few places over Tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep. Isolated rainfall occurred over Telangana, coastal and north interior Karnataka.Dry weather prevailed over coastal Andhra Pradesh. Nizamabad recorded the highest maximum temperature of 42 degree Celsius in the region.

Forecast (valid until Sunday morning: Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a many places over south interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep at a few places over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Rayalaseema and coastal Karnataka. Isolated rain or thundershowers are also likely to occur over Telangana, coastal Andhra Pradesh and north interior Karnataka.

Heavy Rainfall warning: Isolated heavy rain is likely to occur over Kerala during next 48 hours.

Farmers weather bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry (Forecast valid until Sunday morning): Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places over all the districts of Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change.
