NEW DELHI: Art work in the country has seen a steady rise in demand as well as value. Giving Delhiites an opportunity to sample creations from some of the well-known artists of the country, an "Art Walk'' was organised at the Adi Art Gallery here on Friday. An exhibition with a difference, it saw visitors being encouraged to walk down the gallery's corridors and interact with the artists to learn about art. The Art Walk showcased works by leading figures in Indian art, including Yusuf Arakkal, Harsh Vardhan, Jamini Roy, Vaikuntham, Subroto Kundu, Dharmendra Rathore, Krishen Khanna, Prabhakar Kolte, K. S. Kulkarni, Vasudev and several more.

"Art Walk'' also featured a presentation on art as an investment opportunity by Bhavna Kakkar, a well-known art curator, consultant and lecturer. The interactive presentation highlighted various factors that would help clients in deciding when they should invest in Indian art, what and who to look out for and how investing in art was beneficial.
