Rotary Club honours K.J. Yesudas

PROUD MOMENT: K.J. Yesudas receives the Life Time Achievement award.
Chennai:
The Rotary Club of Annanagar Aaditya honoured K.J. Yesudas with a `Life Time Achievement Award' for his devotion to music for the past 30 years.
Rotary 3230 district governor Shyamsunder presented the award to the singer. The president of the Annanagar Aaditya Club, Raja, read the citation.
The club has adopted North Malambakkam village near Poonamallee. It has provided a school with all the infrastructure. It has spent nearly Rs. 4 lakh for the development of the village so far. It has also provided 20 Braille boards and bed sheets to the visually handicapped children of a school for the blind.
Health check up camps have been conducted for the villagers.
