Christian forums seek ban on film

CHENNAI: Various Christian associations have decided to request the President and the Prime Minister to direct the Information and Broadcasting Ministry and the Central Board of Film Certification to ban in toto "The Da Vinci Code" and any other film that wounded the sentiments of any religious group.

The Government had a great responsibility to protect the religious rights as enshrined in the Constitution.
