Pawar to head organising committee

Mumbai: The BCCI president Sharad Pawar has been named the chairman of the organising committee of the ICC Champions Trophy 2006.

The committee: Sharad Pawar (chairman), Niranjan Shah (organising secretary), Prof. R.S Shetty (tournament director) and Nikhil Kumar (security consultant). Members: N. Srinivasan, M.P. Pandove, I.S. Bindra, Raj Singh Dungarpur, Lalit Modi, Narhari Amin. — Special Correspondent
