Students seek permission to commit suicide

NEW DELHI: A group of students from IIT, Delhi, on Sunday submitted a memorandum to the President seeking permission to commit suicide if reservation to OBCs in higher educational institutions was implemented.

The students handed over the memorandum to the President's Secretariat saying they had no other option left if a legislation giving 27 per cent quota to OBCs came through, according to Safal, a Youth for Equality representative. — PTI
