BANGALORE: Mr. Yerrappa said 10 students of the corporation schools had scored above 85 per cent in the SSLC examination. He said of the 1,213 students who had passed the examination, 294 had secured first class. The Gandhinagar Corporation High School stands first among the BMP schools with a pass percentage of 77. The Vijayanagar Corporation High School is second with the pass percentage of 75. With a pass percentage of 71.8, the Corporation Girls' High School, Sriramapuram, is third. The fourth and fifth positions have been secured by the Corporation Girls' High School, Cottonpet, and the Corporation High School, Kasturba Nagar, respectively. The pass percentage this year is 47.53, while it was 39.74 last year. As many as 2,552 students appeared for the SSLC examination this year, of whom 1,213 have passed.
