Ramanathapuram MLA's assurance on drainage scheme

Priority to improve standard of Government hospitals

Ramanathapuram : K. Hussan Ali, Member of Legislative Assembly of Ramanathapuram constituency, (Congress) has once again reiterated that he will certainly implement an underground drainage system for Ramanathapuram and Rameswaram municipalities and solve the drinking water problem faced by the people of the constituency.

Addressing party workers and well-wishers, who thronged the MLA office here on Monday on the occasion of taking charge as MLA, he said Ramanathapuram would be transformed into a model town in Tamil Nadu. He said he would bring maximum benefits to the people.

Mr. Ali said there would not be any problem in implementing the underground drainage scheme.

At any cost, he would fulfil his election promise, he said.

He said improving the standard of Government Hospitals in Ramanathapuram and other areas would be a priority. He would take steps to give quality treatments to the needy, he said.

K.V.R. Ramprabhu, MLA, Paramakudi, the district Congress Committee president, Ravichandra Ramavanni, Congress leaders, Chelladurai Abdullah, Parirajan, the former MP, M.A. Kadher, the Chamber of Commerce president, Dhanabalan, and others spoke.
