VIJAYAWADA: Karnataka and West Bengal entered the semifinals of the Rajiv Gandhi Memorial junior National women's cricket championship at Anantapur on Tuesday. Karnataka defeated Haryana by 31 runs, while West Bengal beat Uttar Pradesh by eight wickets. The scores: U.P. 145 for nine in 40 overs (Reena Singh 40, Siva Kothari 30, Arpitha three for 32) lost to West Bengal 146 for two in 30.1 overs (Priyanka Roy 72, Payal 40).
