CHENNAI: Rainfall occurred at most places over Kerala, at a few places over Lakshadweep. Isolated rainfall occurred over interior Tamil Nadu, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and coastal Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Rayalaseema and dry weather prevailed over coastal Tamil Nadu and interior Karnataka.

They were markedly above normal at one or two places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, appreciably above normal at one or two places over north coastal Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, rest coastal Andhra Pradesh, above normal at one or two places over south Kerala, rest Tamil Nadu north coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, appreciably below normal at one or two places over Telangana, below normal at one or two places over rest Telangana and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

Forecast (valid until Thursday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places over Kerala and Lakshadweep, at a few places over coastal Karnataka. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Andhra Pradesh. Mainly dry weather will prevail over interior Karnataka.
