Pariksha Bhavan inaugurated

GUNTUR: A new two-storied building complex, `Pariksha Bhavan' constructed to house the Examination branch of the Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU) was inaugurated by Andhra Pradesh State Higher Education Council Chairman K.C.Reddy on the ANU campus here on Monday.

Efforts lauded

The authorities thanked Mr. Reddy for the sanction of 40 teaching posts for the university. The authorities were expecting a Government order sanctioning another 32 posts in a couple of days. Mr. Reddy commended the efforts of the ANU authorities and the staff for the development of the university.

Office- bearers of ANU Non-Teaching Staff Association `Vikasa' felicitated the chairman, Andhra University Vice-Chancellor L. Venugopal Reddy and ANU Vice Chancellor V. Balamohandas.

They submitted a memorandum to the APSCHE Chairman urging him to include a representative from their association in the University's Executive Committee.
