THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: IBS Software Services on Monday started work on its own office complex in 2.15 hectares of land allotted to it on the Technopark campus by the State Government. Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan formally laid the foundation of the office complex at a function organised on the campus. An IBS press release said that Mr. Achuthanandan promised the company the full support of the Government in its expansion plans. IBS chairman and managing director V.K. Mathews said the company's own campus would have 4,50,000 square feet built-up space providing working space for 4,000 employees. The complex would have four buildings and would be self-sufficient with a cafeteria, activity centres, parking lots, etc. The campus would have an open-air theatre. Technopark would continue to remain the hub of IBS's operations in India.
