SHIMLA: Junior doctors of Himachal Pradesh led by students of Indira Gandhi Medical College and State Hospital took out a candlelight procession here on Tuesday in protest against the proposed new reservation policy. Earlier they organised a blood donation camp with the help of the local Rotary Club. Highlighting their protest against the reservation policy, the student activists also distributed pamphlets to local residents as part of a public awareness drive. The protesting doctors' chain huger strike, meanwhile, entered its twelfth day. The resident doctors have started running parallel OPDs for the benefit of patients coming from far-flung areas.
