Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Government on Tuesday said it would provide special facilities to entrepreneurs investing Rs. 100 crores or more in the State. The decision was taken at a meeting of the State Cabinet held here on Tuesday, Chief Secretary N. C. Bajpai told reporters. He said that financial facilities to the tune of 200 per cent of the capital investment would be provided to the prospective investors. The trade tax given by the new units would be given back to them in the form of interest-free loans, he said, adding that these units would also not be charged for maintenance, peripheral development and development. -- PTI
