Awareness about HIV/AIDS

THE SPECTRE of HIV/AIDS is still strong though awareness about safe sex practices may have helped in arresting its spread.ActionAid India has planned a series of activities to give voice to those living with HIV/AIDS. A public hearing is to be held on Wednesday where a panel of legal experts and activists will hear stories of some persons living with AIDS. The promoters hope that the fight against AIDS will garner more support from civil society.
