Students get their act together

STUDENTS INTERESTED in theatre usually get opportunities only on their campus and at inter-collegiate festivals to showcase their talents. Now, students of M.S Ramaiah Institute of Technology are getting cast in "Rani Ki Kahani," an adaptation of Girish Karnad's award-winning play "Nagamandali," which will be produced on professional lines.

The play has been translated into Hindi by students, revealing the increasingly cosmopolitan nature of Bangalore's college campuses. It has been directed by Vineet Singh, a final year student.
