KOCHI: A national conference on `new business environment and success strategies' will be held at Hotel Avenue Regent on May 27. The conference is being organised by the Holy Grace Academy of Management Studies, Thrissur, in association with ecomNet and various experts in economics, commerce and management. Academy chairman Raju Davis Perepadan said the objective of the conference was to bring together the rich experience of the experts and share it with the student community of management schools in Kerala. A book on `Business environment' authored by Justin Paul, professor at IIM, Indore, will be released on the occasion. M. V. Nair, chairman and managing director of the Union Bank of India, will inaugurate the conference. B. Satyamurthy, chairman and managing director of the Corporation Bank, will deliver the keynote address. K. S. Harshan, executive director, Federal Bank, will be the guest of honour. Various topics such as insurance sector, telecommunications and agri-business would be discussed at the meet. C. J. George, managing director, Geojit Financial Services Limited, Appa Rao, director, Andhra University, Benny Joseph, HR Head, US Softwares, A. G. Balasubramanyam, Professor, IIM, Indore and others will speak.
