Coimbatore: The Mettuppalayam Police on Thursday arrested three inmates, who escaped from the Observation Home in the City on Sunday night. A bag seized from them had gold jewellery, camera, table clock and valuables. The Police suspect that the three juvenile delinquents to have looted the valuables in the last three days. Seven inmates of the Observation Home were escaped on Sunday after breaking the iron bars.
Special team
Special teams were formed to arrest them. On Thursday, the team following a tip-off arrested the three - Saravanakumar (17) of Madampatti, Manoj Kumar (17) of Sivananda Colony and Pravin Kumar of Ramanathapuram near a theme park in Mettuppalayam. The trio were reportedly on their way to Udhagamandalm with the booty.
