Youth murdered

BANGALORE: A youth, Shashi (26) was stabbed to death, allegedly by a gang of three persons at Bandepalya in the Madiwala police station limits on Thursday night. The motive for the alleged murder is not known.

The victim and his friend Karthik were riding a motorcycle when the trio waylaid them. Even as they surrounded Shashi and stabbed him, Karthik fled the scene. Shashi was a resident of Madiwala.

The Madiwala police registered a case of murder. Senior police officers visited the spot.
