Stone laid for Rane training centre

CHENNAI: A. Toyoshima, Managing Director, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd., laid the foundation stone for the Rs. 1,200-crore Rane Group's permanent training centre for its ten-year-old Rane Institute for Employee Development (RIED). The institute is dedicated to providing continuous education and training to all the executive employees of the group numbering over 1,250. It is staffed by full-time faculty members. In addition, part-time faculty members are drawn from the group companies and outside, says a release.
