Plus Two toppers felicitated

PONDICHERRY: The Pondicherry branch of Bank of India has felicitated the State toppers in the Plus Two public examination.

V. Krishnamoorthy, Chief Manager, handed over the prizes to joint first-rank holders R. Ashwini and R. Bhavana of St. Joseph of Cluny Girls Higher Secondary School (Lawspet) at a function held at the school on Thursday. The students scored 1,182 out of 1,200.

S. Anitha of the same school, who secured the second rank scoring 1,178 marks, was also awarded.

In a release on Friday, the bank said a special prize was given to S. Nikhila, a physically challenged student of the school who scored 1,151 marks. Sister Joel, vice-principal, parents and a large number of students cheered the prizewinners.
