City Union Bank revises deposit rates

CHENNAI: City Union Bank has revised interest rates on domestic term deposits. The new rates will be: 4 per cent for deposits of 15 to 45 days; 5 per cent (46 to 90 days); 6 per cent (91 to 180 days); and 6.5 per cent for deposits of 181 to less than one year. Deposits of one year and above but less than two years will attract 7.50 per cent and 2 years to less than 3 years 7.75 per cent. Deposits of three years but less than 5 years will attract an interest rate of 8 per cent and deposits of five years and above will get 8.25 per cent.

Senior citizens will get 8 per cent for deposits of one year and above but less than two years, 8.25 per cent for two years and above but less than three years and 8.50 per cent for three years and above but less than five years.
