DVD player, mobile stolen

VISAKHAPATNAM: A thief stole a DVD player and mobile phone from a house at Chintalalova past midnight on Thursday. Pradeep Kumar Panda stays on the ground floor of his house and has his service centre for electronic goods on the first floor. He slept on the ground floor on Thursday night. A miscreant gained entry into the service centre and stole a DVD player and mobile phone. In a separate case, the police conducted raids on two video shops at Scindia New Colony and arrested two persons for being in possession of 43 pirated CDs of new films.

The CDs were seized from them and the accused were arrested and sent for remand on Friday.
