Letters to the Editor
The behaviour of the members of the Tamil Nadu Assembly on Saturday was shocking. Welfare measures for the public are more important than blaming each other. Security for all members of the House should be provided.
M.S. Sankaran,
* * * Who is to blame for the undesirable happenings in the House? Both ruling and Opposition parties are playing their own blame game. Agencies such as the Human Rights Commission with no political leanings should monitor the happenings of the House and let the public know the truth.
R. Jagannathan,
* * * It is time a code of conduct for MLAs was firmed up. It should be enforced strictly.
R.M. Manoharan,
* * * It is sad that our so-called people's representatives think showing their might rather than displaying their debating ability in the Assembly or Parliament will earn them accolades from the voters.
Swetha R. Deepak,
