Gujaratis' rights

Many readers have reacted to the current agitation without appreciating the sentiments of the Gujaratis. It is evident that propaganda carried out in the media about Gujarat has meant that anything happening in the State is seen through a coloured lens.

If Aamir Khan's right to freedom of expression should be respected, so should the Gujaratis' right to protest against his utterances if they hurt their sentiments.
