MAHBUBNAGAR: Inclement weather in the State capital forced the helicopter carrying Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy to land in the stadium grounds at Jadcherla at about 4.30 p.m. on Sunday. Dr. Reddy was flying to Hyderabad from Nellore when he was forced to halt due to overcast skies and rain. Officials said that as soon as he landed at Jadcherla, local party leaders and officials including Joint Collector Satyaprasad Rao received him and escorted him to the Kaverammapeta Guesthouse on National Highway 7. Once security was in place 20 minutes later, Dr. Reddy proceeded by road to Hyderabad in a bulletproof vehicle.
