Colombo: At least four tourists were killed in an explosion inside a wildlife sanctuary in northwestern Sri Lanka, police said. A search is on for four other missing persons. The police said they recovered four mutilated bodies from the Wilpattu Park on Sunday following reports of an explosion deep inside the park on Saturday . The wreckage of their jeep was found but there was no sign of four others who were said to have been in the vehicle. The Wilpattu Park, known for leopards and elephants, is situated within an area under Government control. However, Tamil Tiger rebels are known to have staged attacks inside the park.
