BANGALORE: Several students on Sunday complained that the answer keys for some of the questions in the Under Graduate Entrance Test released by the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K) on Sunday on its website were wrong. COMED-K authorities said it was open for students to challenge the answer keys by seeking clarifications by June 2. A parent of a candidate from Vivek Nagar referred to two questions in the Set "C" paper for biology. Question No 7 sought the name of a non-biodegradable pollutant. The four options that were given were newsprint, green leaves, DDT, and cow dung. The answer key was mentioned as green leaves, while the correct answer was DDT, the parent said. He said the answer key given for Question No 59 asking for the location of tricuspid valve was also wrong. Reacting to the complaints, S. Kumar, Executive Secretary, COMED-K, said the candidates could question the answer keys by seeking clarifications by June 2. "If the answer keys are found to be wrong then the candidate will get the benefit," he said.
