Role models

The article `In search of role models' (Open Page, May 28) clearly explains the ordeal of youngsters in their search for bona fide role models. The author's advice that such models can be found in parents, teachers, and other successful people in the immediate vicinity is worth considering. Tales of their toil and sacrifice will serve the young students well.
