ANANTAPUR: Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar Jain on Monday alleged that sexual harassment of women and girls working in the CPI (Maoist), was on the rise. Another incident of sexual harassment came to light when G. Ratnamma alias Swarna (18), wife of district committee member and Maddileru platoon secretary N. Krishna alias Rammohan, who was killed in an encounter in Kadapa district last month, alleged that she was sexually harassed by a platoon member Govindu. She was one of the eight Maoists who surrendered today. The others were identified as K. Sivaiah (22), Mallikarjuna (33), Vijayabhaskar Reddy (33), C. Narasimhulu (30), Guruprasad Reddy (37), D. Sunkanna (51) and Ramanjaneyulu (19).
