"Sonia, Karunanidhi should discuss it"

Special Correspondent

KUMBAKONAM: Union Minister of State for Textiles E.V.K.S.Ilangovan has said that the Congress president, Ms. Sonia Gandhi, and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.Karunanidhi have to discuss and take a decision on Congress joining the State Ministry.

He told presspersons at Kumbakonam that the wish of the Congress cadres was to join the Ministry. But the two leaders have to take a decision.

He alleged that AIADMK has been perpetrating violence and the attack on Pushparaj, Pudukottai district Congress president, was an example. If they continued their violence they may lose in the local body elections.

Expressing concern over the influx of refugees from Sri Lanka at Rameswaram, the Minister said the Central Government has to find a solution.
