Tribute to Mahajan

NEW DELHI: The two-day national executive committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday placed on record, through a resolution, the contributions to the party by the deceased leader Pramod Mahajan.

A flutter was created by the presence of Mahajan's son, Rahul Mahajan, setting off speculation about his entry into politics. It was clarified that he had been asked by the BJP president to personally thank party leaders for the emotional support extended to the Mahajan family.
