NEW DELHI: Congress president Sonia Gandhi re-appointed Rita Bahuguna Joshi All India Mahila Congress president. The reconstituted committee has six vice-presidents, seven general secretaries and six secretaries.
Vice-presidents
The vice presidents are, Prabha K. Taviad (Gujarat), Soundaram (Tamil Nadu), Krishna Mohini (Himachal Pradesh), Krishna Gehlawat (Haryana), Kalpana Devi (Andhra Pradesh) and Wansuk Syien (Meghalaya). The general secretaries, Meera Singh (Uttar Pradesh), Vijayalakshmi Sahoo (Orissa), Kamalakshi Sarma (Delhi), Shobana Shah (Uttar Pradesh), Mahejabeen Khan (Madhya Pradesh), Shikha Kapoor (Bihar) and Saria Khan (Rajasthan) have been appointed general secretaries. The secretaries are, Nusarat Rive (Chhattisgarh), Indu Pawar (Jammu and Kashmir), Vibha Patel (Madhya Pradesh), Sushil Gupta (Punjab), Manjula Naidu (Karnataka), Simmy Rosebel John (Kerala). The frontal organisation has also reconstituted a NGO Cell that has Husna Subhani, Ritu Tyagi and Tannu Singh as members. Abha Choudhary and Pushpa Bonde have been appointed presidents of the Delhi and Maharashtra units.
