Tirumavalavan favours legislation on OBC quota

DPI to hold demonstration on June 6 in support of reservation

PONDICHERRY: Dalit Panthers of India leader Tol Tirumavalavan told newsmen here on Tuesday that the Centre and the Pondicherry administration should bring in legislation to implement 27 per cent reservation for the Other Backward Classes in higher educational institutions.

He said the party would hold a demonstration here on June 6 in support of this plea.
