Bus-shelter at High Court Junction sought

KOCHI:
The Yuvajanavedi has urged the authorities to set up a bus-shelter at High Court Junction for the welfare of thousands of passengers reaching the spot.
Several people, especially those coming from the islands, have been suffering a lot, as there is no bus- shelter at the High Court Junction. The situation has become worse during heavy rains lashing the city for the last several days, representatives of the Yuvajanavedi said in a statement.
They also urged the authorities to extend bus services from the islands to other parts of the city. The islanders have to get down at the High Court Junction before boarding buses to other parts of the city. Despite several requests, the authorities had not yet taken any step for extend bus services from the islands to other places in the city.
