BANGALORE: Five miscreants abducted a senior executive of a garment company from Ulsoor Police Station limits on Monday night and took away valuables, including his car. The car was later found abandoned near Mandya. In his complaint to the police, Chakor Jain said he was on his way home when he stopped near Big Kids Kemp around 11 p.m. to answer nature's call. When he was returning to his car, three men allegedly accosted him and pushed him into the back seat. One of them took the wheels and two others joined them on the way, Mr. Jain said. The miscreants took him to Jnanabharathi campus, relieved him of Rs. 300 and a mobile phone before pushing him out of the car at around midnight, he said. He approached the Jnanabharathi police and lodged a complaint. The car was later found abandoned on Bangalore-Mysore Highway near Mandya. The miscreants took away a laptop kept in the car. The Jnanabharathi police have transferred the case to Ulsoor police as the chain of events began from Ulsoor police station limits. The Ulsoor Police are investigating.
