What ails our hospitals?

Bangalore: They are funded with public money and are expected to serve the healthcare needs of those who cannot afford corporate hospitals. Industrial workers, government employees and pensioners, who have to rely on ESI hospitals, find obtaining treatment difficult. This series looks into this issue of public-funded healthcare.
