KOLKATA: National junior girls' champion Soumya Swaminathan emerged as the sole leader with four points at the end of the fourth round of the youth chess championship at the Netaji Indoor Stadium here on Wednesday. Soumya outwitted second seed IM Deep Sengupta in the second round and got the better of fourth seed Saptarshi Roy in the fourth round. Important results: Premier U-25: Soumya Swaminathan (4) bt Saptarshi Roy (3); Abhijit Gupta (3.5) bt Abhratanu Dutta (2.5); Puneet Jaiswal (3) drew with Debaditya Sinha Biswas (3); Santu Mondal (2.5) lost to Deep Sengupta (3); Arghyadip Das (3) bt Anurag Jaiswal (2).
