NELLORE: Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy will visit Nellore district on June 3 to lay foundation stone for various development schemes. Dr. Reddy will first visit Rapur around 4 pm on Saturday to unveil a pylon of the Somasila Swarnamukhi Link Canal. Later, he will address a public meeting at the Government Girls High School at Rapur, Collector M. Ravi Chandra told reporters on Wednesday. After that, he would lay foundation stone for various developmental schemes. Later, the Chief Minister would inaugurate the Nellore district archeology museum and stay in Nellore on Saturday night. On the next day, he would visit Kaligiri. Dr. Reddy will then visit exhibition stalls of the Education department. Later, he would address a public meeting at Kaligiri, he added.
Reservations
Meanwhile, the district administration has completed the process of finalising reservations. As many as 17 ZPTCs are reserved for general category, 13 for BCs, 11 for SCs and five for STs. In the case of MPPs, 18 seats are reserved for general category, 13 for BC, 11 for SCs and four for STs, the Collector said.
