Several IAS officers shifted

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Government on Wednesday shifted several IAS officers in another round of reshuffle in the State.

Hitesh Kumar S.Makwana, Joint Commissioner of Municipal Administration, has been transferred and posted to act as Joint Commissioner (Communications) in the office of the Special Commissioner and Commissioner for Revenue Administration. Pankaj Kumar Bansal, formerly Collector, Tiruvallur district, will be the new Joint Secretary in the Public Works Department.

Smita Nagaraj, Special Secretary, Municipal Administration and Water Supply, transferred and posted to act as Member-Secretary, State Planning Commission vice P.R.Bindhumadhavan, whose services are placed at the disposal of the Overseas Manpower Corporation Ltd., for appointment as its Chairman and Managing Director vice S.Natarajan. K.Ganesan, Secretary, Prohibition and Excise, transferred and posted as Secretary, Higher Education, in place of K.S.Sripathi, whose services are placed at the disposal of the Tamil Nadu Small Industries Corporation Ltd for appointment as its Chairman and Managing Director, vice Thanga Kaliyaperumal, already transferred.

T.N.Ramanathan, Additional Commissioner of Revenue Administration, transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner(Administration), Commercial Taxes, vice C.Muthukumaraswamy, already transferred.

Dr.S.Swarna, Deputy Secretary, Agriculture, is transferred and posted to act as Joint Secretary, Revenue Department, vice R.S. Kanna, transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, vice A.M.Kasiviswanathan, already transferred.

S.Chandramohan, formerly Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board, posted as Joint Commissioner, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, vice K.Rajaraman, already transferred. E.Dasaradhan, Director of Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare, transferred and posted as Director of Geology and Mining vice S.Suryan, whose services are placed at the disposal of the Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar Housing and Development Corporation Limited for appointment as its Managing Director, vice J.M. Balamurugan, reverted to parent cadre.

Santosh K.Misra, Deputy Commissioner (Enforcement), Commercial Taxes, Coimbatore, transferred and posted as Collector, the Nilgiris District, vice C.Vijayarajkumar, already transferred.

A.Abdul Salam, Additional Commissioner of Labour, transferred as Director, Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare.

T.N.Venkatesh, Sub-Collector, Pollachi is transferred and posted to act as Deputy Commissioner (Enforcement), Commercial Taxes, Chennai, vice Dayanand Kataria, already transferred. The services of Sandhya V.Sharma, Controller of Examinations, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, are placed at the disposal of the Corporation of Chennai for appointment as its Joint Commissioner (Education) vice Shiv Das Meena, already transferred.

The services of Vikram Kapur, formerly Executive Director, Tea Board, Coonoor, on completion of training and on reversion to the State cadre, are placed at the disposal of the Tamil Nadu Urban Infrastructure Financial Services Limited for appointment as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer vice Shashi Shekhar, already transferred. The services of R.Christodas Gandhi, Special Commissioner, Government Data Centre, are placed at the disposal of the Tamil Nadu Urban Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited for appointment as its Chairman and Managing Director vice N.Murugan, retiring from service on May 31.
